I was told they do not take requests for the newer rooms, but I could ask at check in. I requested a King Room in the Newer portion of the Hotel, because all the reviews online said the hotel was dirty and rooms outdated, so I thought maybe the newer rooms would be better. I called to make a reservation four days prior to our date of arrival, that process alone should have been an indication this was not going to go well.
